We understand that each client’s situation is unique and therefore our approach must be tailored to fit the needs of the individual. Each case is assessed to determine the best course of action.

Proximity Alliance

Built from the collaborative networking between PGN, churches, and the community, Proximity Alliance is the relief arm of our services providing holistic care, practical resources, and a roadmap to success for those facing immense challenges with the support they need. Our goal is to provide a robust referral system while providing care for our community.

Proximity Pathways

PGN’s rehabilitation component is designed especially for those who want to dive deeper and address the fundamental issues that keep them in recurring cycles. Those seeking growth can receive personalized coaching and mentoring. Our coaches wear many hats to provide clients with the help they need. They are prayer partners, mentors, cheerleaders, and trusted guides who challenge limitations, celebrate victories, and foster lasting connections. PGN’s programs are designed to propel individuals and families towards wholeness, nurturing both practical skills and spiritual well-being. This is a 9-12 month intensive program. At PGN we understand that creating positive habits and making lasting change takes time and accountability.

Proximity Centers

Strategically located in rural Georgia, these centers serve as a community resource hub which are personalized the the needs of the area. They also house our Proximity Alliance and Proximity Pathways programs. Clients are matched with one of our team members who will listen to their story, assess their needs, and facilitate connections within our network of churches and nonprofits to provide relief.

Tending to the wellbeing of the whole person can be a difficult task to achieve alone. This is why we created the Alliance to help local nonprofits and churches work together to serve their community. PGN partners those in need with a dedicated coach to determine their gaps and help them chart a strategic life plan, as well as a mentor to connect with them regularly and encourage them in their progress.

Here’s how we’re bridging the gap:

The Alliance

Through our Referral Network, we provide a case management system to local nonprofits and churches. This equips them with the right tools to facilitate access to the right resources for individuals and families facing challenges in housing, healthcare, employment, and continued education.

Filling the gaps through faith in action

What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them: “Go in peace, keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

EMERGENCY SUPPORT AND RESOURCE NAVIGATION

In partnership with local communities, we provide emergency assistance for urgent needs like utilities and medical costs, while helping families navigate available resources for ongoing support and stability.

CLOTHINGS ASSISTANCE

Through donations, we make clothing available for individuals and families in need. Items requested often include baby clothes, children’s clothing, jackets, coats, business attire, work boots, and undergarments.

FOOD/GROCERY ASSISTANCE

Food resources are made available through our Alliance partnerships and our Proximity Center pantry. Working together with our community, we provide critical food and supplies when families need them most. Some needs can’t wait — and together, we ensure no family faces hunger and no child goes without a meal.

JOB TRAINING ASSISTANCE

We connect individuals to job readiness programs like Jobs4Life, combining practical training with mentorship, strong character development, and a deeper understanding of identity and purpose — helping individuals secure stable employment and a stronger future.

Community Transformation Cohort

Our Cohort program brings together community partners to work (the core) collaboratively on addressing regional challenges. We believe that consistency in working together leads to a more significant and lasting impact. We measure our success by the positive changes we see and the improved well-being of our residents.

Coaching and Speaking Engagements

Our outreach and youth ministry coaching services are designed to equip leaders and volunteers with the tools and skills needed to engage with and support our outreach efforts and next generation effectively.

We have a roster of experienced speakers who can address a wide range of topics at schools, outreach events, and youth and young adult ministry gatherings. Our speakers are passionate about sharing knowledge and inspiration.

We will create a space where guests will have the opportunity to talk about the impact they are making in the community, share their experiences and valuable insights.

Emergency financial assistance

Financial Assistance we offer includes assistance with rent, utilities, or prescriptions. We can also in some cases offer vouchers for a short term stay in a hotel for emergency housing (one week).

Utility Assistance

Many households are struggling to make ends meet. In the event of utilities being shut off, Proximity Gap Network may be able to make a one time payment assistance. We only assist with electricity, gas and water bills. Payments go to the utility companies in the form of a check.

Clothings Assistance

Clothing items available for individuals and families. We receive requests for items such as baby clothes, children’s clothing, jackets, coats, business attire, work boots and undergarments just to name a few. Most importantly, the clothing closet affords our clients the dignityof selecting basic clothing items that they cannot afford to purchase.

Medical/Dental Assistance

We assist in referring those without insurance to medical, dental, vision, and mental health facilities that can help.

Food/Grocery Assistance

Some needs cannot wait. Proximity Gap Centers offers food and supplies for families with critical food needs. No one in our community should go hungry. No child should go to bed with an empty stomach. Food Pantries are open for as needed support.

Job Training Assistance

Finding work and fulfillment in a job that covers monthly expenses is the goal. Access to job readiness training programs is available throughout the year. A good job brings security, stability and sustainable financial resources for individuals and families to live and thrive. Struggles today does not mean it will always be that way. Finding employment is an important step to getting back on feet. Support is available every step of the way.

Referral-Only Assistance

Proximity Gap Network is a collaborative ministry that works in partnership with local community organizations. We provide resources for relief based on what is made available by the community.

Assistance is provided on a referral-only basis from our trusted community partners. While we strive to help as much as possible, please understand that availability may vary depending on factors such as funding and the specific needs at the time.
